Happy Thanksgiving from IMA

Happy Thanksgiving from IMA

| November 21, 2017

It’s that time of year again when the Christmas commercials are starting, hunters are wearing blaze orange, and we all start to wish each other “Happy Thanksgiving” and “Merry Christmas!” No matter how you celebrate the ending of another year, one thing remains consistent – we all take time to reflect on how blessed we are, and our goals for the coming year.

I took a minute to ask some members of our team to share with you what they are thankful for this year, and we’d love to hear from you as well!

William Bowers, Managing Executive:I am thankful for the time I get to spend with my family and especially the grandchildren. I am also thankful for a healthy new granddaughter which was grandchild number seven!

Professionally I am thankful for the great staff in our office that allows for me to spend more time with the family and for the clients/friends I have made over the last 35 years.  I would like to thank them for allowing me and our office the privilege to serve them.

Dale Robl, Financial Advisor: I'm thankful for my family and the time I get to spend with them. Life is busy, so when I'm with my wife, daughter, or extended family I truly cherish those moments.

I'm thankful for mine and my family’s health! Every year talking with clients and individuals about what they may be dealing with regarding their health gives me a reality check that life is fragile. "When you have your health, you truly have everything."

I'm thankful for my job! I REALLY enjoy what I do; helping others and the people I get to meet and work with. So, if you're reading this.... I'm thankful for you!

Mitchell Sinz, Financial Advisor:Personally, I am thankful for my wife Abbie, my family, and my friendships. My greatest memories involve these people.  From the support, the love, the fun, and the happiness that they have all provided me at one point or another, without them I would not be who I am today. I get to wake up every morning knowing I’ve got a pretty amazing support system surrounding me.

Professionally, I am thankful for all my great clients, and having a career that I love.  More than half of our lives are spent in the workforce, and I couldn’t be more thankful to my clients for allowing me to truly enjoy my work. As the famous saying goes, choose the career you love, and you will never work a day in your life.

Alyssa Tollefson, Administrative Assistant: I like to take a minute each day to be thankful for the simple things in life – the fact I have a roof over my head, food to eat, and clothes to wear. I think these days especially, we are good at taking those things for granted. I’m most thankful for my husband, Chevy, and the rest of our family and friends, though. I’m so lucky to have strong relationships with people who truly care about me and support me both personally and professionally. If you know me, you know that my dogs are like my children, so I’m thankful to be able to come home to them at the end of every work day.

At work I’m thankful to have a safe, respectful work environment where I feel appreciated by all my coworkers and supervisors. It can be rare these days to find a job or career where you can feel good about going to work each day. Here at IMA, I look forward to going to work and helping the clients we serve.

When you boil it down, we all appreciate our relationships with others. What are you most thankful for in your life? Drop us a note or connect with us on Facebook to let us know! Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at IMA!
